Children’s Environmental Health

(All units are fully on line).
Learn about the major environmental threats to children. Learn how air pollution, toxic substances and heavy metals can affect our children. Learn the adverse health effects in children caused by environmental exposures. Health effects such as infectious diseases, lung diseases, allergies, childhood cancers and reproductive health effects to name a few.


Food Science and Technology

Come and study the largest industry in the world – the food industry. Get professional training in food science, processing and technology for graduates in science, applied science, engineering, nutrition, environmental health, agriculture and other related disciplines.


Health Promotion

(Study in internal or external mode).
Come and further develop your knowledge and increase skills in the major principles of health promotion. Look at the current issues in optimising health and preventing disease. Develop research skills, and plan, implement and evaluate health promotion programs in various settings.


Health, Safety and Environment

(Courses are offered in external mode).
The postgraduate programs in Occupational Health and Safety and environment have strong theoretical and practical skills. Graduates can practice in a professional discipline across a range of industries and environments. Come and study risk management, ergonomics, occupational hygiene as well as management.


Health Services Management

This will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold senior management, administrative and planning positions within health service institutions. It is aimed at both health professionals wishing to acquire management and administrative skills and non-health professionals.

Public Health

In the field of Public Health you will learn about the range of social, environmental, biological and individual determinants of health and how they can be changed to improve the health of individuals and the entire population. You will also learn about the appropriate measurement and monitoring of health and of strategies to lead change in a complex and diverse discipline.


Sexology

Sexology refers to the scientific study of human sexuality. Come and study the range of human sexuality, from legal to illegal, childhood to adulthood, and relationships to reproduction; including biases, beliefs and behaviours, diversity, functioning and pleasure, fetishes, desire, fixations, arousal, disease, erotica, emotion and experience.
