WACHPR received the Western Australian World AIDS Day Award for the group that has made a significant and sustained contribution to the fight against HIV/AIDS in WA.
The Award was presented on the World AIDS Day (December 1, 2010) Remembrance and Celebration function held at the AIDS Memorial in Robertson Park, North Perth.  The award was for not only the HIV specific work that WACHPR has been involved in, but also the broader work that WACHPR does with marginalised and at risk communities, such as the My-Peer Project and other programs, and also all the 'extra' work WACHPR does to support the response to HIV in WA and Nationally.
Congratulations to everyone involved!
