About the School of Public Health (SoPH)
The School of Public Health at Curtin University was established in 1979 with a handful of enthusiastic staff and students. Almost three decades later it has grown in size and stature to be a leader in Public Health education and research in Australia and our wider region, offering a wealth of employment prospects and making a real difference to Health in our communitie.
Our School offers 11 areas of study under 4 directorates, including all core public health disciplines. Many of the programs include an international component or perspective.

Directorate of Health Safety and Environment and Health Policy Management
Directorate of Public Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics
Directorate of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Science
We also offer a wide variety of programs and courses including bachelor, honours, and double degrees, postgraduate diplomas and certificates, and masters and doctoral degrees.
